Is your website ready
for people and AI?

A good-looking website is only the start. Check how it performs, what automated checks can tell you, and where to improve—with a free tool you can run yourself.

5 simple steps · No sign-up to run the check
Start with an independent test

Let Google check your website.

Open PageSpeed Insights (opens in a new tab), paste your website address and select Analyze. Or enter it below to prepare a direct test link. Start with your homepage, then repeat for a key service or landing page.

Your address stays on this page until you open Google’s test or submit an audit request.

Check both device tabs

How does it work on mobile and desktop?

When the report finishes, select Mobile and Desktop. Under “Diagnose performance issues,” review each category separately. A strong desktop result does not replace the mobile check.

PerformanceLoading speed and visual stability.
AccessibilityAutomated checks for accessible use.
Best PracticesCommon technical quality checks.
SEOBasic search discoverability checks.
90–100Good
50–89Needs improvement
0–49Poor

Anything below 90 is worth investigating. Open that category’s failed checks to see what needs attention. These are scores out of 100, not a percentage of “AI readiness.” Look at real-user Core Web Vitals too, when available; “No data” is not automatically a failure.

How Google explains these scores
Look beyond the speed score

Check Agentic Browsing, if shown.

2/2

Two checks passed out of two tested.
That is what 2/2 means in a report with two checks. Open the findings to understand exactly what was tested.

If a check fails, note the issue for your audit. This experimental category looks at technical support for machine interaction. Its checks can change, and it may not appear in every report.

Technical readiness and AI visibility are different. A lower score or failed check does not prove that AI cannot read your website. Even perfect scores do not guarantee a mention in ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude. Crawl access, useful content and each platform’s selection systems matter too.
